Following is my Testimonial + Customer FeedBack :
I am a professional musician in Atlanta, GA. Although most of career has been on electric bass, I have also formally studied and practiced trombone, guitar, piano, and drums over the last 30 years, and have owned and played many top shelf instruments. Most recently, I felt a strong calling to start playing flute, and after playing a western Boehm flute for several months, I saw a performance of Rakesh Chaurasia on Youtube, and was amazed at the range of sounds and subtleties possible on a Bansuri. From him, I started listening to Hariprasad Chaurasia and Ronu Majumdar. This inspired me to purchase an E bass flute from a maker in Bangalore in order to have the same key with which to play along and learn their phrases. I chose this first purchase because it was roughly $100 less than a Subhash Thakur, which I was also considering, but was tentative in regards to cost as it was my first purchase of a Bansuri, and didn’t know if my fingers would be able to stretch [ it ended up taking a week or so of practice and then stretching was fine ].
Unfortunately, although the Bangalore Bansuri was relatively well constructed, it was drastically out of tune [ Flat ] with A=440, and was not suitable for playing along with recordings.

My Bansuri Adventure began in April 2020. If not for the support of Kirti L. Shah, I would be lost at sea.

I live on a smaller island in Hawaii. So here are no places, that I can go to hold and possibly try any instruments. Thus I've been very hesitant to buy another bamboo flute by Mail.
As the last instrument purchased, was not what I had hoped it would be and even worse was the fact I could not return it.
I saw many sellers online that do not allow any returns. This made it hard to purchase a better instrument that I felt my playing deserved.

Of the 2 Basic A. E. Flutes, the one banded all in black, did have holes small enough, and close enough, for my grandson’s five year old fingers, to cover. Success !
Bought my first instruments, of this type, from a street wallah, in Calcutta, 1970.
Many such have since passed through my hands. These are nicely made, and finished, in tune, with good tone, and very playable.

Several months ago, it suddenly occurred to me that I wanted to play an Indian Bamboo Flute.
I have no idea what caused me to think this, except that the sound of the flute occurred to me during a meditation session thus, I wanted to have access to such peaceful feelings anywhere at any time.

I am a long time student of Yoga and Meditation. I have been a professional musician for many years and play a Concert Silver Flute, Recorders, Irish Whistles, Pan Pipes, and the Chinese Xiao and Dizi.

Greetings Kirti : I have received the Beautiful Fusion Flute, you sent me. The instrument is fantastic.
My intial attempts have been fairly successful in that I have been able to reach notes throughout the first 2 Octaves.
So I feel confident that some focused practice will ultimately allow me to play each note cleerly and easily.
My first impression is that the flute moves very easily between octaves, the sound is crisp and clear. I think the fit of the flute is good.
Only slight stretching and adjusting is while plaing is needed.

I have known Kirti L. Shah and One World Flutes. for a couple of years now, and would like to share some of my thoughts.
I have been involved with music and musical instruments for close to fifty years.
For ten years I was a flute maker of concert quality instruments; mostly Native American Flutes with some excursions into end blown flutes of China, South America, and Japan.
These days, I dedicate myself to playing the Bansuri and the study of Indian Music.

I have two of One World Flutes. I love them. As soon as I opened the package and unwraped them and started to play I was making music.
